Ich bin Colorist. Seit Jahren argumentiere ich mit Kunden über Look & Feel, so soll es sein. Was nervt, sind die Tools drumherum: mehr Arbeit statt Entlastung, und manchmal fliegt man um den halben Globus für einen 30-Sekunden-Spot. So entstand dfine.io, zuerst als reines Streaming-Tool, das die harten Anforderungen der Automobilindustrie trifft und in Deutschland gehostet ist.
I'm a colorist. For years I've gone back and forth with clients on look and feel, exactly as it should be. What gets me is the tools around it: more work instead of less, and sometimes a flight halfway around the globe for a 30-second spot. That's how dfine.io started, first as a pure streaming tool that meets the hard requirements of the automotive industry and is hosted in Germany.
Seit 2007 arbeite ich in der Postproduktion, seit 2018 mit eigener Firma, DIFFERENCE CC GmbH in Berlin. Über die Jahre haben wir uns durch viele Tools für Review, Approval und Filesharing gearbeitet, und jedes hatte irgendwo eine Lücke, vor allem dabei, Daten ehrlich und sauber in Europa zu halten. Also habe ich das fehlende Stück selbst gebaut: dfine.io, mit eigener Infrastruktur und Datenbank fest in Frankfurt am Main. Heute verantworte ich Vision, Architektur und Freigabe. Die Fleißarbeit übernimmt ein Schwarm spezialisierter KI-Agents. Bevor ein Feature bei Ihnen ankommt, geht es durch DIFFERENCE CC, meine Postproduktion in Berlin, als strengen Praxis- und Compliance-Check.
I've worked in post-production since 2007, and since 2018 with my own company, DIFFERENCE CC GmbH in Berlin. Over the years we worked our way through a lot of tools for review, approval and file sharing, and each one had a gap somewhere, above all in keeping data in Europe honestly and cleanly. So I built the missing piece myself: dfine.io, with its own infrastructure and database fixed in Frankfurt am Main. Today I own vision, architecture and approval. The legwork is handled by a swarm of specialized AI agents. Before a feature reaches you, it passes through DIFFERENCE CC, my post house in Berlin, as a strict real-world and compliance check.

Das Prinzip ist bewusst einfach. Den Großteil der Arbeit, die sich skalieren lässt, übernimmt ein Schwarm spezialisierter KI-Agents. Was bleibt, ist das Wichtigste: entscheiden, prüfen, verantworten. Das machen Menschen, und dafür braucht es nur wenige.
