dfine.io empowered Audi and the creatives exhibiting its new skysphere concept at the 2021 IAA motor show to collaborate, share and provide feedback seamlessly online. Audi’s agency, WeAreSocial, faced strict deadlines and entirely remote approval sessions slotted over weekends. The unique client communication circumstances presented a new challenge for the team to present their work remotely. To ensure approval session success, dfine.io was integrated to help frame the nuances of WeAreSocial’s creative work effectively online.

A TIGHT DEADLINE

Audi aimed to shine the spotlight on e-mobility at the 2021 IAA motor show. The all-electric Audi sphere family concept cars were ready to make an impact with their flawless blend of luxury and utility. All that remained was to showcase the vehicles in an equally impactful mode.

To support the reveal of Audi’s concept cars at the IAA, the automotive giant commissioned creative material that would powerfully package its groundbreaking project from ad agency, WeAreSocial. Faced with collaborating on confidential material digitally wasn’t the project’s only challenge. With the IAA imminent, tricky internal feedback schedules and a tight deadline saw a daunting workflow problem start to emerge.

Contending with a taxing creation, sharing and approval loop, WeAreSocial’s creative director and their team isolated their collaboration efforts with stakeholders in one single, stable environment: the digital realm.

The mission? To generate creative material across internal and external touchpoints, from contributors to client. The client’s most challenging directive? To not generate a single render that could compromise the project’s security, leaking sensitive material prior to their showcasing it at the IAA.
